So August is coming to an end, and with it, the lazy evenings, the take-away filled bellies and the long hours at work. September, with it's deadlines at university, cold rain, and house-hunting, is fast upon us. This weekend has been possibly the best one we've had yet. Saturday was filled with to-do lists, and we wound down by Chris taking me to the circus for the very first time. Sunday was filled with church and friends, teaching two and a half year olds how to use iPhone cameras and grilled burgers/steaks. Monday just gone was the first complete day that Chris and I got together since we got back from our honeymoon; our Saturdays frequently seem to be spent at other people's weddings; and it was glorious. It was filled with sleep, indulging eachother's love of CoD and pancakes, and a few errands late in the afternoon.
I cannot begin to express how wonderfully different married life is at the moment; we're looking at eachother through new eyes, experiencing completely new things and taking completely new chances. I know now so many things I wish I had known three months ago, even after only a month and a half of marriage, and I will continue to learn as we grow as a couple and as a family.
Happy Tuesday all
- K.
